Education
We offer a variety of Christian education opportunities for children,
youth, and adults. We offer ongoing activities such as Sunday School and
Bible Study, as well as short-term groups such as
The Alpha Course and
Disciple Bible Study. Please see

Volunteer Opportunities in education
Sunday School Teachers - We are making a church-wide call for Sunday School teachers! If you feel a call to teach, or aid in teaching a children's Sunday School class, please contact Pat Preston or Bob Hankins. We are currently looking for a teaching team (two Sundays on/two off) for the three year olds and are filling positions for the Summer Sunday School program.
Sunday School Hall Monitor - We also need someone willing to be available Sunday mornings to help things run smoothly -- making a quick copy for a teacher, finding extra chairs, moving TV's from one room to the next, helping a young child having difficulty in the classroom, etc.
Education Committee Member(s): We are always welcoming new committee members
who are interested in the children’s education at FUMC. Meet at noon on third
