As disciples of Christ, the Missions and Outreach committee facilitates the organization, communication and coordination of missions through our church community. Within our church we support activities such as the Food Pantry, Nursing Home Ministries, Interfaith Hospitality Network, Angel Tree, Bountiful Sunday, Blue Jean Sunday and Souper Bowl Sunday. Outside our church we support Boy and Girl Scout Groups, Parents Night Out, Meals on Wheels and Crop Walk.

This outreach ministry works with St. Mark’s UMC, 601 W. Braker Lane, Austin, TX, to house the homeless families. Volunteers provide meals and hospitality. Please contact our IHN coordinator for more information.
Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels is a ministry to older and/or disabled adults. Hot mid-day meals are delivered by volunteers in their own cars. Please contact our MoW coordinator for more details.
Faith in Action Caregivers
Our congregation is a sponsor of Pflugerville Faith in Action Caregivers, a coalition of congregations and community groups with the goal of offering volunteer services to older adults who live in the neighborhoods of Pflugerville, Texas to help prevent them from premature institutionalization and to help them remain independent in their own home. Please contact our Faith in Action representative for more information.

We organize annual mission trips for adults, middle school youth and high school youth to help those in need. Please contact the church office for more information.

Wednesday Morning Prayer Group
This group meets weekly at 10 a.m. in room 102. This group begins with a devotion and prays for the church, lifting up the prayer concerns shared during worship the previous Sunday. Also, additional prayers are offered for visitors and those celebrating birthdays and anniversaries. The group sends cards each week to a small number of persons for whom they prayed. Everyone is welcome. Please contact the Wednesday Morning Prayer Group leader for more information.
Sunday School Greeter Corps
The Greeters Corp helps visitors and members locate Sunday School classes and provides welcoming smiles, kind words, and helpful attitudes to all. Our goal is to have greeters in place each Sunday from 9:15 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. This easy and important opportunity for service to our church and to Christ is open to all members. Please contact the greeter corps coordinator for more information.
Van Ministry
The Van Ministry is an community outreach ministry for those who do not have transportation to church. We also transport for other activities at the church. There are drivers who take turns driving the van. This is important to the people who cannot drive anymore but wish to stay active in the church. Please contact the van ministry coordinator for more information.
Servant Angels
This ministry serves our stay at home members. They share Bible study as well as help various committees as events arise. They meet on Tuesday mornings from 10:00 a.m. to noon in the Family Life Center. Please contact the Servant Angels leader for more information.
