News & Events

Vacation Bible School 2008! This year's theme is Beach Party: Surfing Through the Scriptures. Come enjoy the surf and sand at our Beach Party June 16th - 19th, 2008, at FUMC. We will be riding the wave of God’s love from 9 a.m. to noon each day. Children who will enter 1st through 5th grade in the fall of 2008 are invited to be a part of our program. New worship service! Creekside Gathering is a new multi-sensory worship service here at First United Methodist Church. Led by Pastor Terry Dowdy and worship leader Randy Nettles, the service has contemporary Christian praise music, prayer, storytelling, and sermon in an informal setting that will offer prayer stations, art tables, and coffee bar.
